It is interesting to see how one's body of work changes through the years. I have been going through my old files and sorting them on my hard drive and ran into these gems from 2014.
Back them I was using water color, and Microns to create pieces and then finishing them up in Photoshop. The though process was simple, I did not have a great way to duplicare the lineart that was crutial to my work in a digital art software.
This has been the journey ever since, sure devices and software change but I have been spending a lot of time studying, and perfecting my line work on digital software like Sketchbook Pro, and Photoshop to reach the same level of style of my physical line art.
Today ( 2026 ) I feel like I am really close to the original, however in some ways I am not close enough. Here are three pieces from 2014 that were created on Canson paper with Water Color and Micron Pens.
Happy Easter!
